Welcome to the art of tease! In this class, you will learn the foundations of burlesque and how to turn a simple yet deeply iconic showgirl prop - the long gloves - into a tool of seduction. We will focus on posture, hand movements, and the classic "tease and reveal" removal techniques.
You will learn a handful of tricks on how to peel, swing, and pose like a burly veteran, followed by a sultry yet playful choreography to put all the techniques to use.
This class is designed for newcomers and burlesque fans alike to build your conifdence in a fun, memorable way.

Time: 13:00-14:30 (90 min with a small break)

Level: Open level; no prior experience with dance or burlesque is needed.
Age limit: everyone older than 17 years old is welcome. There is no upper limit.
Language: The workshop is in English.
Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes before the workshop, so you have enough time to change clothes and settle in.
Entrance: The front door is always locked. The instructor will open it just before class and close it again just after.
Parking: Free parking is available on the street. Guests (both cars and bicycles) are asked to park in the two parking spaces at Hellema (within the yellow and white gates).
WHAT TO WEAR & BRING:

Wear clothes that allow movement, for example legging + sleeveless top or bodysuit is recommended.

Long gloves are the star of this class. The instructor will have gloves available to borrow, but you are also very welcome to bring your own pair.

Footwear to your liking. Indoor heels or just socks are equally welcome. Please make sure that your footwear is clean and does not leave marks on the floor.
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Min/max participants: 5/15
Event Cancellation: If the minimum number of participants isn't met by February 14th, the organizer reserves the right to cancel. In this case, all registrations will be fully refunded.
If you need to cancel: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event are eligible for a 75% refund. Unfortunately, refunds are not possible for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance.
