🇳🇱 Zaandam: Stockings Peel Workshop

There's a reason the stocking peel is one of burlesque's most iconic props.

In this workshop we take something as simple as removing a stocking and turn it into a proper piece of tease, with all the tricks, timing and styling that make it look so effortless on stage.

You'll learn the foundations of burlesque - how to handle the prop, where your hands go, what your eyes are doing, and how to stretch a few short seconds into something that holds the whole room.

Time: 14:00-15:30

Place: East Side Dance Studio

Oostzijde 381 Atelier, A3 10, 1508 EP Zaandam

Age limit: everyone 18 years or older is welcome. There is no upper limit. 

Language: The workshop is in English.

Arrival: Please arrive 10 minutes before the workshop, so you have enough time to change clothes and settle in. 

Entrance: The front door is always locked. The workshop assistant will open it just before class and close it again just after.

Parking: Free parking is available on the street. Both cars and bicycles should be parked are asked to park in the two parking spaces at Hellema (within the yellow and white gates).

WHAT TO WEAR & BRING:

Bring: a pair of stockings

Clothes: Wear clothes that allow movement, for example: shorts + top or a bodysuit are recommended.

Footwear: not needed for this class

CANCELLATION POLICY:

Min/max participants: 5/14

Event Cancellation: If the minimum number of participants isn't met by 48 h before the class, the organizer reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the class. In this case, all registrations will be fully refunded.

If you need to cancel: Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the event are eligible for a 75% refund. Unfortunately, refunds are not possible for cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance.
