Starting this September, Zaandam gets its very first burlesque school with regular weekly classes as well as monthly special workshops - and you're invited.
With over 15 years on stages around the world, Miss Chrissy Kiss guides you week by week as we build a strong foundation in burlesque together: real technique, expressive movement, and plenty of playful tease. We'll talk history, pick up the tricks of the trade, and above all have an enormous amount of fun with the art of tease.

You can join anything from a single class up to a full course.
Places are limited to 14 people in the studio, so be sure to register early to secure your spot!

What will we be learning?
The year of classes is split into 4 themed courses - in each course we will go in depth in technique, learn how to play with and handle a prop (gloves, boa, fans, duster), build up burlesque specific skill sets, learn and polish a choreography through the course bit by bit.

Monthly Sunday Workshops
Once a month on a Sunday there will be a special 1,5-3 h workshop. In these workshops we will focus on topics that won't fit the scope of Tuesday regular classes, need a special time slot, or perhaps feature a guest teacher.
Workshops are perfect for those who want to learn a special skill, can't joint the regular classes or would just love to try something new and exciting.

Hi, I'm Miss Chrissy Kiss.
Nice to meet you!
I began my burlesque journey in 2011 in Estonia, also as a student. Soon after, I started performing, and now it's been 15 years of countless glittering show nights across 17 countries.
I owe my knowledge in burlesque to brilliant teachers across the globe whom I've had the privilege to take classes and workshops with, and the on-field experience performing at (almost) every possible place one can imagine.
It is important to me that everyone feels warmly welcome in the classes, that you can spend this hour away from your daily life worries and can leave every class with a smile and a tad bit extra confidence.
I can't wait to welcome you into the room!
