"the Sun" Grand Modular Headdress

"the Sun" is a 115 cm wide, 85 cm tall modular headdress made of silvertail pheasant feathers, gold hardware, rhinestones on rhinestones on rhinestones and appliques in various sizes and golden shades, hand-bent wire frame wrapped, painted gold.
The headdress consists of 3 elements:
- The top: can be removed for easier packing or as part of the show.
- The base: can be worn individually.
- The feathers: can be removed for easier packing or performing in smaller places.
This is a one of a kind headdress.
Want more than just the headdress?
We can go the extra mile and add a matching custom pair of nipple tassels and/or add the golden earrings as seen on the images to get that extra polished burlesque finale look. The pasties would be made to your size and matched to the materials and ornaments from the headdress, and can be with or without tassels depending on what you like.

DESCRIPTION:
How to wear: This headdress is designed as a helmet, and uses ribbons you can tie behind your head or under the chin. The wire frame needs to be bent to fit your head. It will not break. If you need extra sturdiness then you can add bobby pins to hold it more securely.
Weight: 330 g without feathers, pretty light for its size size
Materials: I have used new and vintage rhinestones, appliques, claw gems, electrical tape, spray paint, felt, foam, mesh, plastic and glass beads, wire, markers, hot glue, fabric glue, various ribbons and anything else I see fit, the same materials I use for my own projects
All of my feathers are upcycled and have a history, so you can rest easy knowing that no additional harm was done to birds.
Please note: some glue will be visible up close, tape and gold bits can tarnish over time. The headdress is built for stage and active use in performing.

Parcels are shipped via DPD or PostNL tracked postal service. Delivery times vary by destination, typically ranging from 5 to 15 working days.
All packages are shipped from the Netherlands.
